Friday, June 24, 2011. We left the colosseum and went to the Vatican City . It was so packed with people, you could barely move. It was also very hot. There is so much history in the artwork and architecture of the buildings. Kellyn and I had pizza for lunch and gilato for dessert. We tried to find Aliso a sweatshirt but no one sold what she wanted. Hopefully we'll be more lucky tomorrow. June 24, 2011 at 2:19 PM. I really like the picture of you and Kel. Saturday, July 2, 2011. I couldn’t update because there was no internet. Tomorrow we’re going to Venice by ferry. I can’t wait to see all the canals and to come in on a boat. Venice was fun. The canals were beautiful. We took a lot of pictures and got lost a couple of times. We saw glass blowing and ate more gelato. The next day we went to Verona. Monday, June 29, 2009. Susie, Jen, Laura, and I came to New Orleans yesterday for SHRM. I have been here once before but it was quite awhile ago and involved my family and 2 SUVs. Pulling pop-up campers. Probably not a typical New Orleans experience! We are staying in the Royal Sonesta. Street. The hotel is gorgeous! Beautiful chandeliers, antique tv. It's really a terrible place on Bourbon street. I would advise anyone traveling through here to avoid it. Only 5 menu options but the beignets. Floatation ...
