Stories and brag book from a proud mom of three. Saturday, February 11, 2012. Here is my sappy post for the month.well, don't hold me to that because I will probably become an aunt this month, so that may call for another one. So bear with me. Older parents, or at least wiser ones, are always telling us young mothers to cherish these times while are children are young.it goes so fast. I felt like last night that I was truly "in the moment" and trying to freeze frame in my memory the events. How is it pos...

the schindler family: November 2011
http://jackandryleighschindler.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Stories and brag book from a proud mom of three. Wednesday, November 16, 2011. While I was busy redecorating our kids' rooms this past weekend, Jeremy and Jack enjoyed their first dad-son camping trip to Enchanted Rock. They had a blast! Jeremy said that Jack was a trooper hiking up the rock, especially in the brutal wind that nearly knocked Jack over. Jack was also awesome with sleeping in the tent. (This is no surprise though since my snuggle bunny got to cozy up to daddy all night.). Should I put the ...

the schindler family: Ryleigh Conversation
http://jackandryleighschindler.blogspot.com/2013/05/ryleigh-conversation.html
Stories and brag book from a proud mom of three. Monday, May 20, 2013. I have SO loved getting to know this little creature that God chose to place in my stewardship. My Ryleigh! I have barely grasped how much I adore her even when she is on my last nerve. This conversation is a typical type of one that we have fairly often. Me: Ryleigh, do you have any idea how much I love your daddy? R: (a little disgruntled that the last word above wasn't her name) Yes. R: I do, Justin Beiber. Schindler family web page.

LEWISLAND: This too shall pass...
http://shaneanddixielewisfam.blogspot.com/2012/05/this-too-shall-pass.html
Tuesday, May 29, 2012. This too shall pass. It didn't matter, some kid on the winning team yelled "you suck! And that's all he could think about. Mason wouldn't look up at me no matter how much I told him how great he did. They're competitors and this loss hurt. This too shall pass. This kid has vision! Although we all enthusiastically signed up for Isaac's book club it wasn't until 9:30 that we sat down for dinner. Book club would have to be postponed. Maybe we could come watch a ball game?

LEWISLAND: A Thousand Wolverines
http://shaneanddixielewisfam.blogspot.com/2011/05/thousand-wolverines.html
Wednesday, May 11, 2011. On Sunday Morning I woke up with Isaac looking at me laughing hysterically, "Mom you look like you've been attacked by a thousand wolverines! Sadly, his assessment is painfully accurate, I FEEL like I've been attacked by a thousand wolverines. Selling a house is a test in patience, humility and creativity (how many dirty dishes can you fit in a laundry sack to take with you in the car? Scrubbing bubbles don't fail me now! Fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly. We went to ...

Stories and brag book from a proud mom of three. Friday, February 15, 2013. Jeremy and I own a business together and he has recently been so vulnerable with me and asked me to come on and help more hands on at the office. I am so excited to put into action the words that I so often think: "I am your ultimate supporter", "I believe in you and what you do", "I want to be your true helper-completer"! I am truly so honored to come alongside my man and build something together. Bathtime with Jack 2007. A Mess...

the schindler family: June 2013
http://jackandryleighschindler.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Stories and brag book from a proud mom of three. Sunday, June 16, 2013. My Jack turned seven, SEVEN, people, back on May 16th! For some reason the ages from here on out sound SO much older than the preceding ones. I don't like it one bit. Along with growing older, Jack has told me that he no longer wants me to sing him a song at bed time. Tonight he added that he no longer wants me to read him a book either. Me: So, you don't want a song and now no book either? Sad face) I guess you don't need me anymore?

LEWISLAND: Trust Me, I Know My Parents
http://shaneanddixielewisfam.blogspot.com/2011/08/trust-me-i-know-my-parents.html
Friday, August 26, 2011. Trust Me, I Know My Parents. It's happening, my boys are growing up. This was their back to school picture this year and I swear they didn't look this grown up when I was taking the picture, they almost look like teenagers. Frightening. It's all about the friends now, and Mom and Dad are an inconvenience beyond shelling out money for activities. So I'm hanging on as much as I can. darn it. Isaac isn't far behind. This boy is not afraid to tell it like it is. I laughed, hard.
