Nathan and Rachel's Blog. Tuesday, June 30, 2015. June - moves, sales, Father's Day, doctors, family, and the great outdoors. Our next door neighbors moved, and that took Hannah's playmates away. Despite the sadness of her friends leaving, she had a lot of fun running around in the truck. We have been super busy with selling LOTS of stuff around our house. It's amazing how much you hang onto throughout the years. But what is even more amazing is what some people will buy! She thinks that we sold the cat!

Friday, November 13, 2009. YW in Excellence was tonight. Nicole is the Laurel president so she was asked to conduct the meeting. Her value displayed was Good Works. The project consisted of organizing a Senior Citizen Ball. She is in the Service Club at school and they organized a dance for local senior citizens. She helped advertise, plan music and entertainment, make corsages and boutineers, and decorate. They also arranged to take a photo of each couple that attended). Hunger- Is Not a Child's Choice.

And everything nice. That's what little girls are made of. Thursday, September 22, 2011. Our little family went camping August 12-14, 2011. The girls had never been camping and I'm not a big camper but we had a lot of fun. We went to a campground 5 miles up the canyon from Nephi. They had a swimming pool which the girls loved! We were able to borrow a trailer so we didn't have to use a tent. The girls really want to go again next summer so we hope to make it again. Our home away from home.

And everything nice. That's what little girls are made of. Friday, August 26, 2011. Spanish Fork City always has a big celebration for July 24th (Pioneer Day) which they call Fiesta Days. We did a lot that week and weekend. On Thursday night (July 21) we went to the Rodeo. On Saturday July 23, Katelynn rode on our ward's float in the Children's Parade. The children were to dress up as what they wanted to be when they grew up. Katelynn dressed up as a cowgirl. Played on the bounce house. At the Splash Pad.

Every month the teachers are asked to choose a student in their classroom who is helpful, obedient and a good example to other students. And everything nice. That's what little girls are made of. Sunday, March 25, 2012. All I Want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth! In October 2011, Katelynn lost both of her 2 front teeth. She lost the first at the beginning and the second on October 30th. She was so excited to lose both teeth and I told her she was a perfect Jack-O-Lantern for Halloween. She was definitely singing, "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth"! Her mouth is tiny like her mother's and she has some big teeth coming in.
