http://canada2001-susie.blogspot.com/2009/09/july-13-2001-seattle.html
July 13, 2001. July 13, 2001 - Seattle. We took the 10:30 ferry to Port Angeles Washington. So our car had to be in line at right after the 6:00 ferry left. Stan took the car over and put it in line, then came back to the room. It is a little cool this morning. The ride on the ferry was a lot rougher than our trip earlier in the week. We drove down the coast of Washington to a little town called Kingston. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). July 13, 2001 - Seattle. July 12, 2001 - Victoria.

http://maui2006-susie.blogspot.com/2007/08/july-5-2006.html
25th Anniversary Trip to Maui. July 5, 2006 - Travel Day. The flight to Maui wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. We arrived about 30 minutes earlier than expected…that was nice. The airport was kind of neat, open air walkways. I guess in Hawaii you don’t need much air conditioning. We rented a car from Word of Mouth Car Rental. We called them when we got our luggage and they picked us up. They were very friendly and easy to deal with. No lines! We went to Penne Pasta. The beach was not the best for s...

What a drive to Haleakala, sea level to 10,000 feet in less than 2 hours! View of the Big Island from Haleakala. We drove down through Makawoa and Haiku, stopped and had a picnic lunch watching the windsurfers at Hookipa Beach.

September 15-20, 2009. September 20 – Going Home. We enjoyed our last breakfast at the inn. Portuguese sweet bread French toast, sausage, muffins, mixed fruit, juice and coffee. I think I will miss having breakfast ready for me each morning. It was easy to get spoiled. We did a little last minute packing and left for the airport. Our flights (Providence to Orlando and then Houston) were on time and very smooth. No last minute troubles this time. Final look at Newport - Bannister's Wharf.

September 15-20, 2009. September 18 – Boat Show. Another wonderful breakfast started our day. This morning it was raspberry peach pancakes, sausage, orange bread, honeydew melon and blueberries, juice and coffee. We spent time later in the day walking through the old colonial part of town. We went to the White Horse Tavern. For a beer and clam chowder. It is the oldest tavern in the Untied States…built in 1673. Just think of all the people who have been through the doors and had a beer there. The survey ...

It’s hard to believe we’ve been home for two months…time has flown by. We’ve been busy with boat projects, house chores and catching up with our family. We’ve gotten to spend a lot of time with our grandwonder, which is the best part of being home. Next step was to lay out the floor and cut tiles to fit. Location: Rockport, TX.
