Tuesday, March 31, 2015. How did dinosaurs die mommy? We made it to Bismarck in time for a pizza supper on Saturday night. We were so excited to finally see baby Evan! Cute little guy :). Don't mind me while I just eat these puzzle pieces mom". Sunday was the day of Benny's birthday party! Cora had a grand time "helping" Benny open his gifts and try to snitch either cotton candy, cake or marshmallow pops. Anderson playing with Papa and Benny after the party. Like this giant prehistoric fish. Lifelike bec...

those darn Kidd's: Stitch Fix Review
http://andyandnicolekidd.blogspot.com/2015/08/stitch-fix-review.html
Saturday, August 15, 2015. Have you ever noticed how as a mother (or father) of young children, you so rarely do anything that is just for your pleasure and yours alone? Think about it - if I feel like having some ice cream to treat myself, I'll bet you one-hundred dollars that is the exact moment Cora walks into the room and says "Mama, watcha eating? So of course, she ends up eating half my bowl. Or, heaven forbid, try on clothes with the same two small children? I thought "what do I have to lose?

those darn Kidd's: We have a walker!!
http://andyandnicolekidd.blogspot.com/2015/05/we-have-walker.html
Tuesday, May 12, 2015. We have a walker! Anderson has been balancing a lot more lately and had even taken a few tentative steps last weekend. We were working with him last night (trying to get his attention with a book he wanted to chew on ☺),. When all of a sudden he took about six steps towards me and I managed to get it on camera! He may have a dirty shirt and a bump on his noggin but look at that proud face! Posted by Andy and Nicole Kidd. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Andy and Nicole Kidd.

Thursday, October 30, 2014. Every since we moved in to our house (almost 5 years ago! We have wanted to get rid of the crabapple tree next to our driveway. It was beautiful - for approximately 2 weeks out of the entire year when it bloomed. For the other 50 weeks, it looked dead and dropped all it's leaves in June. Last weekend we were on our way home from the Farmer's Market when Andy wondered out loud, "How much do you think it would cost to rent a chainsaw at Home Depot? And down the sidewalk a bit.

Tuesday, November 25, 2014. Life with a 2 1/2 year old. A few weeks ago, on a lazy Saturday afternoon, Andy was putting Anderson down for a nap and I had a rare few moments to myself on the couch. I knew Cora was downstairs and when I had checked on her last, she was contentedly looking at books on the couch. It's only been a few minutes, what could happen? Should've listened to my brain. Oh hey Mommy - what's this you ask? Oh, it just my masterpiece, isn't it beautiful? When did we make up that rule?

Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Cora the Big Sister. After Anderson's birth there were of course a ton of pictures taken, but not all of those pictures and special moments made their way on to the blog because we were just so busy with a newborn. Now that things have quieted down (a bit! At home, I wanted to make sure I documented those moments. Or to see what Cora was doing at this age. So here is one of my favorite times: when Cora met her baby brother for the first time. Checking out brand new baby Anderson.

Thursday, August 28, 2014. Part Two: Why Not Minot (and the lake times two). The fun continued at the lake when we got to hit the beach with the kids on Thursday. We practiced floating in our life jacket in the water. Neither Cora or Ben were big fans of laying on their back. Anderson's first pontoon ride! Close up of my cutie pie. Swimming at the beach - even Jessica wanted to get in on the blow up animal fun :). It was zebra vs. ladybug! Cora and Auntie Jessica. Benny shoveling sand on Grandma's feet.

Tuesday, June 30, 2015. The Ultimate Madison Summer Bucket List (and our progress with it). A few months ago a blog that I follow posted a summer bucket list. Of things to do in Madison. I read it out loud to Andy and we noticed there were a couple of things that we had literally NEVER done in the past seven years of living in Madison. One of those was #17: "Go for a hike at Picnic Point.don't forget to pack yourself a picnic lunch! Model pose from our little cutie. The (sweaty) hike back to our car.
