We have started a tradition on Christmas Eve of going to the Christmas Eve service at church and then having my family over to our house for games and goodies. I love it, it's so much fun! Monday, June 13, 2011. Kyle and I are responsible for 13 "out of kindergarten" children this week at Vacation Bible School. They are totally precious and we had a great night last night. Thursday, July 14, 2011. I am so proud of myself I can hardly stand it. For the first time ever, I made my own homemade pesto with basil from my very own basil plants on my porch! I've waited weeks and weeks and weeks for my basil plants to be big and strong enough where I could get enough leaves. Kyle and I both love pesto and I saw this recipe. Married Life: A Family Wedding

Monday, August 8, 2011. The wedding and reception were both inside of this big white country club on a gorgeous golf course. It couldn't have been a more perfect place. Friday night was the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner and the bachlorette party. By the time I got back to the hotel Friday night I was completely exhausted. Then Saturday was the big day! I only teared up one time and it was only after Holly did first! I'm just so happy for her! Some of the ladies before the Bridal lunch. I love this picture!

Thursday, January 16, 2014. We spent Thanksgiving in Santa Maria, California with our Carson family. It was a very needed and fun trip. We flew in to Santa Barbara. Braxton loved the airplane (and the train in the airport). He looks like such a pro sitting here waiting to take off. He is such a good traveler. With both of our flights to California, Braxton fell asleep as soon as we started to descend. For having only two 20 minute naps that day, he was a very happy kid. It was a really neat experience.
