Never a Dull Moment. Monday, August 8, 2011. The other day while at The Malachowski's house Amelia found these pink goggles. She knew exactly what to do with them and did not see reason to ever remove them. They especially became handy during bath time to keep the water out of her eyes. This is the face she made at herself in the mirror for a good 5 minutes. Thank-you Lauren for sharing your goggles. That is one sick mullet, but what am I to do, I cant cut those curls are you crazy? I finally fall asleep around 6 when I decide to relocate rooms because continuously rolling my husband over on his side (this helps the snoring) has become so frustrating that I begin to envision rolling him off the bed. When I opened Amelia's door this afternoon to get her from her nap I noticed on the floor her diaper and clothes (as she's pointing and saying "diaper, clothes"). There she was just wearing a smile. Wednesday, July 27, 2011. My big boy turned eight months old on July 11! We were in Colorado at the time and had a great family vacation there with his great-grandparents. What a luck kid to have GREAT grandparents AND GREAT-grandparents! Here are what have been the hightlights of this past month. Weight: 19 lbs. 15 oz. Height to come at 9 month appt. Foods: Everything except peas. (we'll try again soon! LOVES yogurt and LOVES his bottle. HAS HIS FIRST TOOTH! Continues to make everyone around him smile!

Thursday, November 1, 2012. Haven's 1st birthday fell on a Saturday so my parents and Aunt Shelby came over to celebrate! Since he had already had his birthday party, he only had a couple little gifts to open and of course devour his smash cake! Bama and Unchie got him this blue car, which has been one of the best gifts. We take it everywhere! He loves riding it; he's so much happier in it than a stroller. Monday, January 2, 2012. I want to remember all the words Connor is saying right now. Da doo or ta too = thank you. Hi = hi and bye (with a wave of course). Out = out (usually accompanied by a hand motion and pointer finger). Mama = mama (used very sparingly and usually only in times of desperation! Dada = dada (first thing he says in the morning when he wakes up, says dada constantly! Na / nuh = no. Shhhh = shhh (and puts his finger to his mouth / cheek) doesnt count as a word, but still. Ma = mas / more.

Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Colby - two months old. June 1, 2013. Colbs weighed 13 lbs 14 oz at his 2 month appointment. WOW. This boy is growing and healthy! I'm happy to say he outgrew his grumpy / fussiness that we enduring during month one. For my mommy records:. He nurses every 3 hours with a 'dream feed' at 11 pm. Saturday, December 17, 2011. For Thanksgiving this year my family came all the way from Lubbock, Illinois, and Missouri to visit. We had so much fun. It was a unique and memorable event and was made even more memorable by the buckets and buckets of rain we received that weekend (practically the only time the entire summer we got any moisture! Friday, August 14, 2015. Friday morning we headed out to Roosevelt for My Grandpa Lynn's funeral. It was a beautiful service and I was so glad we were there. It was so fun to see all my family and celebrate Lynn Labrum. I'm named after him and I am his oldest Great Grandchild. I've always felt a special connection to him.
