Tuesday, October 31, 2006. So today was my work Halloween costume contest. I went as an archeologist as I mentioned in my last blog. It was fun we had a Halloween quiz which I only got 4 out of 10 right. Who knows Halloween trivia anyway? Everyone thought I was Laura Croft, The Tomb Raider. Or Indiana Jones's wife. Sunday, July 22, 2012. On our drive back from Las Vegas we stopped and walked across the Hoover Dam. Two things knocked off Jordan's bucket list in one trip. Garth Brooks in concert! Jordan and I went to Las Vegas this weekend to see Garth Brooks in concert! We ate a quick dinner and then walked around. We spent most of our time at the Paris hotel because it was close and we didn't have a lot of time before the concert. That and it was a beautiful hotel. Off to see Garth Brooks! The show was amazing.

Sunday, December 25, 2011. For Christmas this year I told my Mom that I wanted her to make me an apron. I love to cook and have wanted one for a long time but just never got around to getting one. Not only did she sew me a really cute apron but the polk a dot material is from an old dress from my childhood! I got a little choked up when she told me. When Jordan and I first saw this home we really liked it, quickly put in an offer and then after a lot of paper work and waiting we were told that we were out bid by two other cash offers and that there was no way our offer would be accepted. Our agent called us later that afternoon to tell us that the unthinkable had happened. The other offers fell through and they had accepted ours! If we wanted it the house was ours! Friday, June 28, 2013. Barnum and Bailey's circus. Jordan won tickets to the circus at work and so we invited some of our favorite friends Brian and Lanie to come with us. I had never been to a circus and so I wasn't sure quite what to expect. It was so fun. I loved watching the gymnast's. They were incredible! Of course there were elephants and tigers. Friday, June 5, 2009. Talon had his 9 month check up today and is doing great! He is 18.5 lbs, 29 in length and right on target for everything else. Now I can feed him solid food. I am so glad that he is doing so well ,but I can't handle seeing my baby grow at the blink of an eye. The other day he said "KYKY" which is what his sissy wants to be called. She was so excited that she ran and hugged him! I just love to watch the two of them become friends. It makes motherhood all worth it! 1- He crawls fast.
