Wednesday, August 3, 2011. Squat Cleans and Burpees. Still working on my 2nd pull and the starting position and tonight it really started to come together a bit more. 5-4-3-2-1 Squat Clean 103#. This was a wonderfully short wod, but each of those last squat cleans was a fight. When you make the mistake of catching one in the power clean position and then have to squat with it, the motivation to catch each and every clean in the squat position sky rockets! The Sectionals Day 2. 6 min to find 1RM squat clean and jerk. Did a power clean, front squat, and push press. damn if i had better technique i would rock. Wod d started right after 6 mins of wod c. 15 push press 40#db. 100 yd farmer carry. I ended up with 92nd place, which im pretty happy with. Saturday, March 27, 2010.

Sunday, October 31, 2010. Oh, look I did something over the weekend! When Jason annouced this wod, he saw how quickly I realized that this was 50 burpees. Apparently it was all over my face. It feels super-duper to start round 2 after those burpees and then by round 5 you are agonizing over every single one. Work to a heavy single, with no chance to miss. At 243, I started to noticably slow down, so I decided that was my last attempt before I'd honestly wonder if I would make it back up without a spotter.

Monday, January 9, 2012. Working Out in 2012. Sunday, January 7th. 7 bench press 43#. 12 set ups (16"). I basically loved this wod. Admittedly I went very light on the BP, but I am just adding those movements again after my shoulder trouble. Light or not, I felt like I was able to work hard this entire wod, moving quickly from one movement to the next. Tuesday, October 4, 2011. Bear Crawls are Evil. I am officially in a grumpy mood because of pain now. I shouldn't have benched at all tonight, but my shoulder felt SOO good. Everything else has been just fine for my shoulder over the last couple of weeks, so I wanted to bench. 2 reps at 103 and I knew I needed to stop. Bleh. My shoulder just hurts a lot right now, and I am not happy with myself. 30 yd bear crawl before each triplet. Pull ups (ring rows). Box jumps (subbed to 16"). 140816 – Strength.
