This is the backyards deck and the snow drifted higher than the railings. We may have to add more snow fences next year. Sunday, May 24, 2015. Spring arrival on the northern east coast has finally arrived. And just enough snow to let me know just what I had missed whilst wintering in south western Ontario. This was the morning I awoke to, first mist, then fog, and oh so warm. The sun would come out and burn off all the fog and present a beautiful day to all of us! This pile of snow stayed for a week! I'd not seen snow for a couple of months, our neighbour was surprised at how fast it disappeared. Bill with his arrows.

The task of making roman shades to keep the very hot, very direct sun of summer out of the house. A quilt made by my SIL as a 25th anniversary gift for my husband and I. As you can see it is absolutely lovely, and she made it especially with 25 blocks.
