Templeman Tattler: June 2008
http://templemantattler.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 26, 2008. School is officially out! To celebrate, we went off to our favourite water front park that very afternoon for some fun in the sun! This park is great. Not only is it beautiful since it is right on the water, but it has a splash pad, an amazing playground, and a few trees for a shady picnic spot. The only thing is it has small pebbles instead of sand . . . which isn't too much of a problem, but I wish I had bought some beach cushions from Cannes! The swings were a bit hit, as usual.

For the Love of Adoption: Megan's vocal debut
http://blog.foreverroberts.com/2012/02/megans-vocal-debut.html
For the Love of Adoption. She has our love. Who cares if she doesn't have our eyes? Wednesday, February 1, 2012. Megan is much like me. She bursts out into song several times a day for no apparent reason. She sings because she likes to sing and it makes her happy. The only thing that differs from me is that Megan is so uninhibited that she will sing at the top of her lungs in the grocery store. And that's enough to embarrass Megan for decades to come. Labels: just for fun. February 2, 2012 at 1:23 AM.

For the Love of Adoption: Like sister, like brother
http://blog.foreverroberts.com/2012/05/like-sister-like-brother.html
For the Love of Adoption. She has our love. Who cares if she doesn't have our eyes? Monday, May 14, 2012. Like sister, like brother. Siblings are supposed to have things in common, right? Megan and Wesley are a far cry from looking the same. I'll be the first to admit they share no blood. But, we do need some kind of claim on them as siblings. My claim is that they were born with the same cheeks. And you should be jealous, because big cheeks equal kissable cheeks. Harmony, hes SO CUTE! D Cute, cute!

Templeman Tattler: Judging
http://templemantattler.blogspot.com/2008/10/judging.html
Thursday, October 9, 2008. On my walk to school the other day I followed behind two young men, probably in grade 8 or so, who were dressed "with the times.". They were approaching three of their friends, one of whom was a minority . . . and in this area, very probably from a recent immigrant family. I overheard their conversation as they looked upon their "friend" commenting on his new look, which seemed to mimic theirs. I had several thoughts run through my mind. Well, to a seven month pregnant mother o...

Templeman Tattler: Why I Love Jackson's Preschool
http://templemantattler.blogspot.com/2008/10/why-i-love-jacksons-preschool.html
Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Why I Love Jackson's Preschool. In one 2.5 hour class, they did two worksheets: the letter "O" and the number "2",. Made an "octopus",. And made a pet rock. (Jackson named him "Mr. Knuckle."). They do such a great job there- all for $8/hr. And Jackson. When he walks in, he enthousiastically calls out,. Hi Guys, I'm here! Yesterday he sat down and asked who knew how to say, "Au rawr" (aka: Au Revoir. The kid was scared of the paint. Ridiculous! October 21, 2008 at 10:48 PM.

Templeman Tattler: Happy Birthday, Baby!
http://templemantattler.blogspot.com/2008/10/happy-birthday-baby.html
Friday, October 3, 2008. Happy Birthday, Baby! It's hard to believe that my baby is one. I worked so hard, dragging my feet, doing everything in my power to keep her small and baby-like. (It's funny that I would feel that way, since with Jayden I just couldn't wait for him to start growing up the minute he came out of the womb.). Instead of reflecting on a year of firsts that will never come again for her, I can focus more on the lifetime of firsts ahead. And just how exciting those will be! Even sitting...

Templeman Tattler: Break-Neck Speed
http://templemantattler.blogspot.com/2008/10/break-neck-speed.html
Thursday, October 16, 2008. I like to live in the fast lane. I am always impatient to get to my destination. Once there, I look around for a few minutes, and then I am on to something new. A newer, better, more interesting place. But life for me is starting to break the sound barrier, it seems. Next thing I knew, Christmas decorations were floating around amidst Thanksgiving decor. (And it wasn't just Costco- they seem to be thinking of Christmas in July.). When does it slow down? The {City} Pumpkin Patch.

Over Exposed: January 2011
http://templemansoverexposed.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
January 28, 2011. Coming from someone so sick of snow storms that I have refused to pick up another shovel and have hibernated (so I don't have to keep driving in blizzards without snow tires). How are we supposed to ENJOY the snow if we cannot drive to the ski slopes . . . or even drive to the grocery store for more hot chocolate? Links to this post. January 18, 2011. I fear we have a Jackson, Jr in female form.). Our house is mostly tile and wood, so she has figured out that if she takes her socks off ...
