From Head to Heart: June 2009
http://nickcameron.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
From Head to Heart. Saturday, 27 June 2009. I had seen the book 'Grace Walk' mentioned on some grace and glory blogs and realised that a number of folks were all saying what an impact this book had on their journey into grace. I couldn't help myself I HAD to read this book! So I brought a new and used copy from Amazon and was delighted when it arrived. I am not a particularly fast reader and sometimes feel like I am wading through a field of thick mud wondering if I will ever finish a book! Law will caus...

The Best is Yet to Come: Some quotes on Romans 7
http://peterjrday.blogspot.com/2008/03/some-quotes-on-romans-7.html
The Best is Yet to Come. Some quotes on Romans 7. There have been a number of comments. On my previous post. Concerning the nature of Romans 7. I realise that that I will be disagreeing with many learned people, and so I do not want to present a "final answer" to debate on Romans 7 - rather I just want to share some quotes from good commentators. Whatever else, this passage does not. Quoted in Terry Virgo, God's Lavish Grace. The argument supporting a reference to Christian experience is exegetical but e...

The Best is Yet to Come: November 2007
http://peterjrday.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
The Best is Yet to Come. Gathering the church God's way. I have been so challenged to read Terry Virgo's. Latest blog post (HT: Life on Wings. As a pastor, I have a burden to see the church built - for people to be saved and added to the local church, but also for them to grow in maturity, in love for Jesus, in passionate worship, in joyful service. I long for the church to display the glory of Christ to the surrounding area, even to the nations. Indeed our church's vision statement. God’s flock wi...

The Best is Yet to Come: What Happens If We Sin?
http://peterjrday.blogspot.com/2008/04/what-happens-if-we-sin.html
The Best is Yet to Come. What Happens If We Sin? At the moment over on Life on Wings. A couple of posts have led to some important discussion in the comments, about both the source of holiness. And also about whether our experience of the power of God is linked to our purity. Anyway - here goes (please excuse the note form! Text 1 John 1:5-2v1. Does it mean that sin doesn't matter? Does it make us less perfect in God's sight? I) Why sin matters. We have been given the Holy Spirit. We are told “...As we g...

From Head to Heart: Grace and molds?
http://nickcameron.blogspot.com/2009/08/grace-and-molds.html
From Head to Heart. Saturday, 8 August 2009. Been thinking a lot recently about the mold of what I think I should be like as a Christian, perhaps the mold that I think others have for me, the expectations others have of me, the mold that perhaps I even try to put on myself. I am sure others have the same thoughts some time. Anyone else battle with this? Grace lets us dig deep inside and allow the color we have to come out on display for all the world to see! Peace to you Nick! Blessings on your journey!

The Best is Yet to Come: August 2011
http://peterjrday.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
The Best is Yet to Come. Evangelical Christians - good news or bad? Yes, I know I haven't written a blog for a very long time, but today I read something that I knew I had to share. Last week, we had the sad, but joyous news that John Stott has left this earth and is now in glory. There have been many amazing tributes from Christians all over the world. Yet, in some ways more amazing, has been the response of the world. The next day, the BBC published an article on their website. View my complete profile.

The Best is Yet to Come: What do you wish?
http://peterjrday.blogspot.com/2009/02/what-do-you-wish.html
The Best is Yet to Come. What do you wish? This post has its origins in a prophetic text I received from Dan. In mid-January. This was what he said:. What do you wish queen esther? What is ur request? It shall be given to u, upto half my kingdom! What do u wish peter day? What is ur request? It shall be given u! Ask of me and ì will give the nations to u! Ask - becuz u are most dearly loved! Ask becuz i am besotted wiv u! Be still, soak, now that i am ur father, ur daddy. Know my love! But At the same ti...

The Best is Yet to Come. Revenge against the spirit of accusation. I have recently finished listening to Rob Rufus. Teaching from Dubai on grace from 2006. I am about to go on holiday (for a week), so I thought I would leave this quote behind, and I encourage you to let the truth impact you and liberate you. Blessings in abundance to you. Over to Rob:. If God is for you, who can be against you? It is God who justifies, who is it that condemns? Revenge against the spirit of accusation.". And friends, if y...
