We may not have it all together, but together we have it all. Sunday, October 14, 2012. Emerson is finally eating real food and loving it. I started giving her tastes of rice cereal at 4 1/2 months hoping that it would help ease her spitting up and about a month later she decided it was pretty good. Althoug it's a pretty messy job feeding her, she seems to enjoy her rice cereal. What a big girl! I guess I wasn't feeding her quick enough because she grabbed the spoon to do it herself.. I love this pose.

Right after Emerson was born, while we were still in the hospital, the pediatrician discovered that Emerson had hip dysplasia. After an ultrasound, doctor's appointment and another appointment with a specialist, they confirmed that she does have hip dysplasia. And put her in a Pavlik. It seems like just yesterday she was born and now she is so independent and well on her way to running all over the place. She has been such a joy to everyone and her brother and sister love her more than anything. We just couldn't imagine life without this sweet and happy girl!
