Little School in the Ozarks: Adoption updates
http://littleschoolintheozarks.blogspot.com/p/adoption-updates.html
Little School in the Ozarks. The life and times of a homeschooling family. On this page we will post our adoption updates. Some people ask us why we are not adopting from the US. I was talking to someone else who had done an international adoption and asked how they answered that question. They said that kids in the US foster care system won't go with out shelter or basic needs, but kids that are in other countries will. This video shows some of the reasons. Glad to be done with this step!

Little School in the Ozarks. The life and times of a homeschooling family. Friday, March 12, 2010. It has been a long hard winter. We received plane tickets to Florida as a Christmas gift. Couldn't have come at a better time. We enjoyed getting away while our friends back here in MO got 6 more inches of snow. Florida wasn't particularly warm this winter, but anything is better than what we were dealing with in MO. Here are some fun shots from our trip. It looks better than it is! Grandpa and the boys.
