Between a lot going on in our family and my laptop deciding to go into retirement, blogging has taken a back seat. Since Daniel is such an amazing father and husband, and because he has been very patient about having to do very difficult, stressful schoolwork in a tiny apartment full of screaming littles, dirty laundry, and an all too often exhausted,. Less-than-chipper wife, I decided to make one of his favorites for dinner tonight: Chicken Pot Pie. I don’t think Daniel even looked at the crust; he was way too busy scarfing! Daffodoos and the Dental Department →. Glad Girls and Uncles. February 9, 2012. This has been quite a week in Markertown! Once we had all gotten over our head colds, Daniel decided to come down with the stomach flu and pass it to Ella, who passed it to me, after which I passed along to Rachel, who decided to generously return it back to me. Trust me, getting the stomach flu twice in two weeks is not a good idea! Uncle John came into town this week, which has been great! Posted in Around the apartment.

Brains and Beauty →. January 24, 2012. Tonight was a big night! Rachel had her first bite of solids– pureed sweet potatoes. I had wanted to wait until she was six months to start solids, but Rachel was staring at our food and crying every time we all gathered around the table to eat without her, so we knew the time had come.
