To add to our malaise, our computer crashed. Again. It seemed hopeless. I wasn't quite up to date on backups, and so there were a few months of pictures that were not recoverable. We had our usual dose of Mexican food; every day except for one day when we had Italian food. We bought chiles to send to Everett, dealt with a dead battery in the Tahoe (again) and made it to the White Sands Missile Range Museum. Approach to Las Cruces from the west.

Tuesday, October 03, 2006. Chantel's is officially in remission! I took Chantel up to Whistler to celebrate for a couple of days post her final chemo (we did not know at that time that she would be done treatment for now). Chantel had her chemo session on September 7th. She had a CT scan the following week and a PET scan last Friday. We received the news from her Doctor yesterday that she will not need to do any radiation therapy as the chemo appears to have done the trick. Thanks to all of you again!
