Mockingbird’s Lost Magnolia Seed. This year, it was looking like the weather was getting a real good start on them the thursday before…. Getting the ground ready for the Flowertown Festival. A really really good start…. Just a little sprinkle. A great thing about the spring is that the little creatures come out for pictures. I was trying to work on a car, but this guy had other plans for me. One of my pear trees was just waking up from the winter. Future pears, perhaps. Awwww, cute little pear babies.

I was sitting at my desk the other day, trying to cull through some pictures, when I swear I heard the zombie tree laughing and calling me outside to check out the mockingbird…. Was frantically searching around and mumbling something about a magnolia seed he had set down when he had stopped what he was doing earlier, because he had to run some other birds out of his yard. And now he couldn’t find it…. I could tell he was pretty stressed.
