Conversations with Court: A New Year
http://conversationswithcourt.blogspot.com/2010/08/new-year.html
Saturday, August 21, 2010. Once the supplies were in hand and we were headed to Open House, I think everyone finally accepted that school was coming whether we liked it or not. And I think, finally, there was a tinge of excitement in the air. Thursday morning Dad took Colin and Connor to school…at 7:00, mind you…THAT’S SOOOO early! Connor started the second grade this year. His teacher is Mrs. Welch. He’s so excited and absolutely LOVES her! Rhiannon is also starting the eighth grade and not quite exc...

Don't Forget Your Courage". Tuesday, January 5, 2010. Snow day after day, after day. What makes the snow day more significant is the fact that school was to begin yesterday after our two-week Christmas Break. (I can call it Christmas break instead of Holiday break because here in Arkansas we don't have to be so politically correct - you can call things exactly what they are without worrying about offending anyone - and people here are not so easily offended.). Weather forecast for tomorrow? Invent some w...

Don't Forget Your Courage". Wednesday, November 5, 2008. A Poem of Fabulosity. Oh, the FABULOSITY of my life! See this happy, smiling face of a high-school sophomore. Who only two hours before called his mother from the school,. Informing her that he had to have an edible representation of a cell. Due by third period. See the kitchen which is now covered with cake, frosting and chocolate pudding,. Which represents the nucleus - of course. See the happy, happy mother. The FABULOSITY of my life!

Friday, July 17, 2009. A Letter to Harry. Dear Harry Potter,. I'm sorry to inform you that we need to end our relationship. I know, I know.I've loved you and been with you through all seven of your books, and five of your movies. I've enjoyed our time together, however all good things must come to an end. You see, Harry, you no longer bring me joy.only heartache and annoyance. Because of you. On my hands and knees because. Was used as a broomstick earlier in the week! Thanks so much, Harry. NOT A CAT :L.

Conversations with Court: February 2009

Sunday, February 15, 2009. The world seems like a scarey place right now. There have been mornings when I've woken up and literally was so overcome with fear I wasn't sure I could get out of bed. The thought of getting the kids dressed, making lunches, driving them to school, and going about daily business was almost more than I could bear. The logistics are uncertain. when. Will we find a job, what. Will we do in the mean time, how. Is our life on Earth really going to play out? I know that with faith w...

Tuesday, February 8, 2011. Two proud dad's, Adam with 3 month old Crew, Keith with 1 week old Luke. 3 months makes a big difference in baby time, Crew 3 months, Luke 1 week. Luke had a difficult start, and was in Nicu for 6 days, but didn't have any trouble with hair. He weighed 6lbs 8 oz and 20 inches long. It's so great after all these years, Lindsay and Keith were able to have a baby. He was truly worth the wait. It's great to be grandparents! Posted by Les and Cheryl. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Recent trip to Oregon. Tucker, when he is eating, all of a sudden has best friends! Shelly just gets cuter every day! This isn't a great picture of Chris, but he was intently playing ball with Whitnie, then suddenly started throwing the ball to Lindsay who was sitting on the couch. Guess he thought she should be involved. Lindsay trying to hide. Posted by Les and Cheryl. Wednesday, July 15, 2009. The one with stars is the one Les did. Posted by Les and Cheryl.
