Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Paul Jones in the Wall. Karl posing with the treasure he finds behind the wall. Take a good look as this is the last smile out of him for the rest of the day, I am pretty sure the squirrel nests and mouse poop was more than he bargained for in his idea of helping out. But it was a HUGE help. We gutted the entire room and cleaned up the crap. Literally. The dining room with all it's "old world" charm. With the wood paneling gone and the wall paper ready to get the 'ole heave ho.

Tuesday, August 23, 2011. As many of you know, we have a truck. What you may not realize is that most of the time I don't get charged for dumping materials at the dump, because typically there is no charge for car loads, truck loads are another story- for instance, 10$ a load for wood waste). Bill Lee stopped by just as things were starting to get going and took some action photos of the living room and the tow truck carting the volvo off to the shop. Labels: it only gets worse before it can get better.

Monday, December 9, 2013. Phase 3- inside the 2nd floor part 2. Putting it back together. Erik reframed what he could. Erik shimmed every 16" to level out the 3" difference across the entire 2nd floor. This was huge. If he hadn't of done that, everything would have been off. Have a mentioned how truly talented he is? Labels: Framed- Can you Picture It? SEAL IT- Foam insulation. Woah- Oh - Were Half- Way they Ahhh. Phase 3- fall update inside the 2nd floor. Woah- Oh - Were Half- Way they Ahhh.

Sunday, May 27, 2012. Lost and Found, Demo Phase 2 and beginning of Demo Phase 3. There were two beds and a corner unit to fill in the awkward corner of this room. It is really a small room, and this is a good solution to where to put the beds. Not sure we will do anything different to the layout, but we are so far away from furnishing this space. Time to demo.
