Wednesday, March 24, 2010. 1st Day of Spring. On the first day of Spring, the weather in Austin was less than spring-like! We had a blustery day with a high in the 40's. Nonetheless, John and I wanted to do some landscaping to spruce up our bare backyard. We visited Home Depot on Sunday to pick out our new plants! Thursday, August 2, 2012. Searcy Trip, cont. Note: last 2 pictures above were from our stop at Pam and Cary Branscums home in N Richland Hills for the night on July 29th. The following morning, Johns cousin, Lana Wilkins, and her sweet baby, Hannah, came over for a visit, as they were in Dallas for a conference with Mark. Jacob manages to put away a large amount of goldfish each day on the car ride home. He can jump with both feet off the ground. One morning we took the kids to the Mayburn Children's Museum on the Baylor campus and they loved it! This is going to be a LONG update so feel free to skip around :). I was being admitted to have a baby at 9pm! My contractions really started to pick up then, and things started to move along. I was so upset because I was so ready to have this little guy! I had finally called Rachel to show up to be here to do the birth pictures and I was sitting at a 6!
