Monday, October 31, 2011. Sue then called us. We were pretty excited thinking "Oh, this sounds awesome". I then asked "When is she due? A lot of people have shared their hesitation about us taking such a long match. But, when we took a short match (6 weeks til the due date), it failed. So, the length of time doesn't seem to matter. Wednesday, May 9, 2012. Update on Birthmother and pre-term labor. The name of our blog Learning To Rejoice cracks me up every time I see it. When we chose it, it just seemed like a good fit and was available. The Lord continues to teach us daily how to rejoice in ALL circumstances. Unfortunately, now birth mother's blood sugar's are high. They are administering insulin shots. She will be hospitalized until Friday, although I am not exactly sure why at this point. We will keep updated as we know more.

Wednesday, January 25, 2012. The feeling of helplessness. I'm writing this not because I really want to. But, because it is more important for me to address some of the issues I'm currently struggling with. There is an exposure into my grieving that I'd really rather leave alone. But, it is my believe that if I'm struggling with this, so are others and that is where my ministry lies. This is the cycle of fear. I'm so used to disappointment and death in this area that it's difficult to trust the Lord.
