It's Unspeakably Beautiful... Limerick
It's Unspeakably Beautiful. Limerick. Thursday, May 19, 2011. I left my heart in Ireland. When I first came to Ireland I was welcomes with the phrase, "Céad míle fáilte romhat". Now I am back in New York and I long to be back in the Emerald Isle. I don't know what I want to do for school, or for work. I feel as if summer gives me so many goals to pursue, from books to catch up on to things that I want to learn. Words cannot describe how much I want to go back. It was truly the best experience of my life.

One Widow's Journey
Wednesday, October 3, 2012. How Long Have I Been Lost? Have you ever walked through your life and been utterly unaware of changes inside of you? Changes that you didn't notice because just dealing with your everyday life took every bit of your conscious effort? A couple of years ago, I would have adamantly declared that this description had nothing to do with me. I would even have argued the point. But I would have been wrong. When did I see you hungry and feed you? Counting on the Lord to sustain me.

LEARNING TO WALK IN HEELS
Sunday, May 1, 2016. So here we go.31 days of reminding myself that everyone -myself included - is doing the best they can. And following that reminder up with another reminder to offer kindness and compassion and respect instead of being judgy and disconnected. Learning to Walk in Heels
Learning to Walk in Heels. Tuesday, 24 January 2012. January. Traditionally the most boring month of the year. After a manic weekend with F in London, I arrived back to Bucharest to chaos at the luggage carousel, an argument (in Romanian) with a couple of thieving taxi drivers who wanted to charge me five times the fare to get back from the airport, and part of my flat reduced to rubble where my landlord had decided to rip the bathroom out. Welcome to Romania. Happy New Year. Or maybe I'm just getting old.

Learning to walk slower. July 21, 2010 · 6:33 pm. Solutions for a Troubled Kitchen. Since I started getting more serious about cooking and baking sometime during college, I’ve come to realize that there are a handful of issues I run into on a regular basis while cooking/cleaning that many other people, including you, probably run into as well. The following is a list of problems that I’ve come to learn throughout the years, all of which have. Fingers reek from the garlic I chopped last night! My Nalgene ...

Walking slowly | Footsteps into Africa
The luxury of leaving. On day 4, we stood in a circle and held hands while Lawrence fondly nicknamed ‘the Pastor’ asked that God bless my safe return. It was nearly dark: we’d waited a long time for Okwiri, who’d spent all day with a mechanic after some kids vandalised the friend’s car he’d borrowed to drive us into Dandora. But there was still time for a prayer. ‘Does it feel like a ritual? It’s nice’, I said and was glad I didn’t have to lie. But I wasn’t the only one. On day one, these people had lite...
