Our History and Community. The Canadian National Railway crossed the homestead of Robert Leask in 1911, and later developed into the town site of Leask. The Petition for Incorporation of the Village was sent to Municipal Affairs on July 27, 1912 and made official September 3, 1912. Under the Big Sky. My life, my interests, and my creations at home in the Treasure State! Tuesday, May 31, 2016. Do horses have a morning ritual? I take my daughter to school at the same time each morning, and I drive by several pastures of horses. Each day, the horses line up side by side and appear to all be looking at something off in the distance.
