Friday, June 18, 2010. I just had a long, personal chat with a colleague I adore and will miss when she has to leave. I hear sounds of trickling water from the prawn tank she inherited from someone else, the beeping tune of reversing trucks from the construction site next door and the low whirring of my tiny, overworked laptop. It is 10pm on a Friday night, and this loser is still in the office. Here's a photo I took at the train station - the little boy who made time pass in the blink of an eye.

Saturday, February 13, 2010. Shadows, textures and shapes. More beauty around than we can wrap our heads around. Went to the Bukit Batok Nature Reserve last weekend and was floored by the amazing shadows, textures and shapes created by mother nature. Not the typical type. If looks can be deceiving then be deceived. I'm not one of those who sit and agree with what the majority says. I stand to what I believe is right.
