Boathouse | Lens Lugger

https://lenslugger.wordpress.com/2009/05/07/boathouse

Here’s a little picture of a boathouse. It sits on a private lake here and one of my clients has a house there. One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever worked to be certain. Cherry Blossoms | Lens Lugger

https://lenslugger.wordpress.com/2009/04/20/cherry-blossoms

One of my favorite flowers to shoot is the cherry blossom, which is as I’m sure you know is on a tree. Around here most of them are ornamental and sport a 5 petal pink blossom. Occasionally I will find six petal cherry tree, or the rare five petal tree with a six petal blossom or even a white flowering tree which resembles an apple blossom quite a bit. And this is how you lose fans! | Lens Lugger

https://lenslugger.wordpress.com/2009/06/07/and-this-is-how-you-lose-fans

And this is how you lose fans! This time I thought I’d show you a little of what goes into those HDR pics like the boathouse you’ve seen before. If you’ve not seen it you should go look it up in the blog… it’s just a couple beofre this one. Original three images…. And the merged image…. At any rate, there is an HDR image, shot and assembled today. High Dynamic Range. Basically means the range of what can be seen is expanded and that allows the viewer to see something they could never see in &#821...Your ...

April | 2009 | Lens Lugger

https://lenslugger.wordpress.com/2009/04

Well the field is a full 40 acres of tulips and the longer into the day it got the more and more people there were to contend with for the field shots so between the harsh light, number of people and according to my wife my ‘more discriminating eye’ I took far fewer shots this year than in years past. I’ll spare you all the tech details on these but will gladly answer any questions you may have on them. Now if only I could get the tree with leaves AND the tulips with color…. Exposure 1/100 at f/4.0 a...

What a month…! | Pastor Jack's Weblog

https://critzpastor.wordpress.com/2010/07/31/what-a-month

Pastor Jack’s Weblog. Real life over a cup of coffee. July 31, 2010. What a month…! For those who don’t know the count down above is tracking my “new life”. I started counting after I made a commitment to exercise and eat right. So far I have lost 45 pounds as of this week! Jackson is especially stoked about spending time with his cousins! Probably the most exciting news and update for this past month just arrived on Wednesday of this week. We finally received the paper work and notice that Jaime&#82...

Answered prayer | Pastor Jack's Weblog

https://critzpastor.wordpress.com/2010/09/18/answered-prayer

Pastor Jack’s Weblog. Real life over a cup of coffee. September 18, 2010. Nope, we don’t have a house yet, although we may be getting close. Nope we don’t have new jobs yet either. Out of all the “Big” prayer request I have recently…nothing! Apparently, sitting and the sciatica nerve don’t get along very well. Of all the prayers to answer, of all the prayers we have prayed recently, the one answered first was that one. Don’t misunderstand. I am grateful, extremely grateful. Posted in Deep thoughts or not.

Pastor Jack’s Weblog. Real life over a cup of coffee. September 14, 2010. That was a bust! Some days are just like this! Like I said, we wanted it too bad. Don’t get me wrong we enjoyed a few hours in Dolly’s neighborhood. I even got to buy my first size 36 waist jeans in probably two decades! Yes, that was shameless self adulation! Ok, true confessions, I haven’t run since Saturday. AND, AND,. Anyway, the adventure rolls on! At least we won’t be bored anytime soon! Posted in Life and Times . That was a ...

Welcome to ‘Materville! August 18, 2009 · Filed under food. It’s been six months in the making. But we FINALLY have them! These poor container tomatoes look pitiful after being pruned beyond recognition. But we had to do something — they were taking over the porch! It all worked out, though. Because last weekend we picked our first harvest. Miso is not impressed. Of tomatoes, total. And now for the weigh-in:. That’s 15.3 ounces — just under one pound. Can you believe it? Git in mah belly! Mom and I made ...

I think there’s a message here…. August 2, 2009 · Filed under cats. For weeks, we’ve been growing ‘Cat Grass’ for the kitties in a large flower-pot. And for days, they’ve nibbled at it…. 8230;and nibbled at it…. We didn’t immediately plant new grass, because we had run out of seeds. Then, one day, I wake up on the couch to find this:. Pastor Jack’s Weblog. Real life over a cup of coffee. August 28, 2010. It’s never too late! If you want to talk about one of the over riding lessons I have learned this year it must be that it is NEVER TOO LATE! This afternoon we have a play date set at the park, which isn’t too unusual because we go there a lot to run, ride scooters and swing! You may have also missed the fact that she is adopted. Pastor Jack’s Weblog. Real life over a cup of coffee. May 8, 2010. If my feet are moving, I’m STILL runnin’. Before Gallop for the Greenways. Today was Graduation Day as Kristen called it! We finally ran in our first 5K! We both finished without walking, YES, and we both beat our personal best time. In the running world they call it a PR! I beat my old PR by two minutes! Honestly, three months ago this was little more than a pipe dream when we started 5K 101. The best is yet to come! It is because we are...

Pastor Jack’s Weblog. Real life over a cup of coffee. May 31, 2010. Yes, I’m still counting even if I have been forgetting to post! We began the month with our first 5K run, which we completed by not being last! About a week later I actually ran 10K for the first time in a long time. I haven’t ran 6 miles since my college days! Man did it feel good to be able to do that again. Until I tried to get out of my truck afterwards! Then we had a birthday party for our baby girl who turned the big ONE! We also d...
