Tales from the Kitchen. Kitchen table discussions with recipes and ideas for shopping on a budget, cooking for a family, meal planning. Ranee @ Arabian Knits. I'm happily married, mom to four boys and four girls at home, with one in the presence of God. We are slowly working on raising our own food and making much of what we need. I knit, cook, read, pray, think, write, crochet, and I'm trying to sew, too. View my complete profile. Its Been a Long Long Time. English Muffin Bread for the Bread Machine.

Your garden sounds amazing! You should also make some bruchetta or just tomato, basil and mozzerella on toast. I love fresh tomatoes, so much to do! June 24, 2010 at 5:30 AM. Magical Realism: May 2009
http://magicalrealist.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 9, 2009. As of an hour ago, my third year of grad school is over. Latin comps are passed (yay! Papers and take-home finals handed in. The only remnant of school is the stack of grading (and the stack of books to start studying for Greek comps). The ten straight days of rain are also over. The annual neighborhood yard sale is on, and I just finished eating this. Lovely kale salad for lunch, and getting ready to head out! Garden pictures to come in a few days. Magical Realism: update on nothing much
http://magicalrealist.blogspot.com/2010/05/update-on-nothing-much.html
Saturday, May 29, 2010. Update on nothing much. The plants are growing nicely. From Smitten Kitchen is fab. I've made it twice this week because the first time I ate half of it while standing in the kitchen waiting for the kebabs to grill. And now I see that she has posted a shaved asparagus pizza. I just used up my gf pizza dough on a pesto-goat cheese flatbread! I have gone running 4 times this week. Yay new running shoes. Paris is something. :). May 30, 2010 at 3:24 PM. Magical Realism: June 2008
http://magicalrealist.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 5, 2008. The constantly over-committed perfectionist known as Dana finally overdid it for real. After writing the last post, she decided that she REALLY HAD TO take FOUR classes, because they were so interesting and would never be offered again. Along with teaching four days a week and making the significant (and time-consuming) life decision to join the Orthodox church (see here. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.
