Tuesday, June 15, 2010. January 27th, 1997. Mom Mom and Pop Pop's 40th Wedding Anniversary celebration. It was such a happy occasion! It was a surprise party held in their honor! They were happily married for 53 years and if she had lived until May 18th, they would have been dating for 54 years! Such a beautiful love story! They are one of the very few examples of true love I have ever seen in my life. He was by her side to the very end. So bittersweet! But I'm afraid that they'll just fade with time.
