Sunday, April 19, 2009. Peer Ideas of How to Integrate Technology. Katie Warning used a video from national geographic about jumping spiders. She also used a page of pictures from google. She said the students were engaged in this topic. Katie made great use of the technology she had in her classroom (her school had very little technology). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Monday, March 23, 2009. It is said to be the driest place on earth, and when I searched this location it showed some great sand dunes. I will also include rivers and Cape Horn, the tip of South America, which is the closest place in the world to Antarctica. I think Google Earth will be great to show the diversity of geography in South America. March 24, 2009 at 7:09 PM. You're so brave using a google earth tour, Violet! I'm sure the kids will love it. Thursday, April 9, 2009. While taking the flexibility class and learning how to stretch I was able to learn a lot about my own learning theory. It was interesting to see all of the different learning strategies I used to learn how to stretch properly. I feel that I use a combination of all the different learning theories when I learn. The key aspect to me learning how to stretch was through modeling. The teacher modeled everything we were supposed to do and that is a main way how I learned. I knew that i...

Whitney's School Blog: Psych Project
http://whitneysschoolblog.blogspot.com/2009/04/psych-project.html
Thursday, April 9, 2009. This semester I chose to learn how to stretch the “right way.”. I always used to stretch before and after I worked out, however, I had no clue what I was doing. I decided to take the flexibility class at Brigham Young University to improve my stretching skills. I ended up not only learning about how to stretch correctly, but also how to sleep and eat right too. Taking this class was a really neat experience for me. The students would share interesting things they knew too.
