I think there was definitely a lot of talented people in the 2D and 3D classes this year. And our class was a really great group, a really positive, creative place. On Friday I put up The AP Art Poster at Jamba Juice and I also put up an empty bowls poster there. I put an empty bowls poster up at Flying Pie Pizza, The Lake Salon, and Wizers also. Thursday, January 21, 2010. I am currently working on a project for my concentration, but I still need to do a second project to meet the deadline. My concentration is "illuminated objects" which is currently going in the lantern direction. I have had some ideas of making chandelier-like illuminated objects made out of old pop bottles or something, but I don't know how I would be able to get a candle into a glass pop bottle. Monday, April 18, 2011. So the showcase is really what is on my mind. I have been doing a ton of ceramics lately trying to get ready. I'm still worried though because there is so much to do before the showcase, but I know I'll be ready! I am going to sit down and plan everything out that I need to do. Friday, June 4, 2010. Progress on the wheel. I feel much more comfortable when throwing on the wheel now. Although I have two problems. 1 It is hard for me to throw larger pieces. I know that this will change over more time I spend throwing on the wheel so it's not too concerning.
