The shape is a very important aspect of this style of glass so it will take some attention to detail but just make some measurements and stay true to your original drawings. Friday, June 4, 2010. Progress on the wheel. I feel much more comfortable when throwing on the wheel now. Although I have two problems. 1 It is hard for me to throw larger pieces. I know that this will change over more time I spend throwing on the wheel so it's not too concerning. This weekend, I was able to complete my National Art Honor Society hours by working on a project with several other AP3D students, one of whom was actually planning the entire thing.
