I felt really good considering yesterday’s brutal course. Even in warm-up I wasn’t stiff or sore but I was a little fatigued. The field let us go for 2 laps but quickly shut us down. Houston Firefighter and Speed Racer. Saturday, July 12, 2008. Today’s race was in Blue Island, IL a suburb on the South side of the city. The course was pretty straight-forward 40 miles and not very technical. The field was typical for Superweek (100 ) in size and aggressiveness.
