http://hereismyblogtitle.blogspot.com/2009/06/thing-1-connectivism.html

Insert Blog Title Here. Tuesday, June 16, 2009. Thing 1 - connectivism. I watched the video. For the second time just a minute ago. I love the ideas presented in this video, and I think it could work. But it would take a lot of work. It's difficult to keep a 15 year old motivated, but this kind of teaching is important because this is how we learn. . I think a librarian could absolutely play this role. Isn't that our job? Teaching our students how to find the information. . Houston, Texas, United States.

Insert Blog Title Here. Wednesday, April 23, 2008. Are interesting. I have a couple of ideas for nings. You could create a class ning. And your students could join and network and collaborate with each other. You could also create a library or school ning. And have parents and students join and give information, have groups, etc. I could see how nings. Could be a very interesting way of sharing information in a school. I also like the nings. That were provided in the instructions (except Ning for Teachers.

Insert Blog Title Here. Wednesday, February 6, 2008. Got married a few weeks ago. She had perhaps the most fabulous wedding. I have ever been to. Insert Blog Title Here. Wednesday, April 23, 2008. I'm finished. This has been a interesting experience. 1 My absolute favorite activities were with LibraryThing. And del.icio.us. Like I said in previous posts, I knew about both of these things, but had resisted them for one reason or another. NOw I'm hooked. 2 I like to learn. I like to learn about technology. And I like to learn about new technology that I can use in the classroom and. 3 I really didn't think that I would like del.icio.us.

Insert Blog Title Here. Wednesday, July 1, 2009. Thing 2 - wordle, voki, glogster, bookr. I really like wordle. I used my latest entry from my "real" blog. I think this would be an interesting way to show students when they are repeating words too often. You can change the language and it stops filtering out the common English words. For instance, I know I used the word, photograph quite a bit. It's a good thing the post was about photographs. I wasn't as thrilled with voki. Because I have used ANIMOTO.

Insert Blog Title Here. Wednesday, April 23, 2008. Is BLOCKED. (Anyone notice a theme? I'm pretty familiar with YouTube. Though and think it would be great to be able to show those videos at school. (Though I do know about Zamzar. And have used it.). The above video is from TeacherTube. I teach The Things They Carried. By Tim O'Brien in my Junior IB English classes. This video describes a possibly project that a teacher could use when teaching this novel. One thing that I really like about TeacherTube.

Librarian in the Mirror | A place for reflection

Librarian in the Mirror. A place for reflection. My journey into motherhood. January 11, 2013. As this blog is a place for me to practice the art of reflection, I though I’d start by reflecting on my journey into motherhood. From about the age of 16 I said I didn’t want to be a mother. I was quite prepared to be a career woman and I thought I’d die an old spinster. Things never turn out exactly how you think do they. So what changed. Aaron, my wonderful husband. So with my age ticking along, we finally d...
