In general, I think blogs are a neat way to express thoughts. I have read several different blogs, though I only follow one. Because I have used kidblogs before, setting this blog up wasn’t completely unfamiliar. I look forward to having a reason to blog regularly! The only blog I follow is dooce.com and I started reading that after reading Heather Armstrong’s book It Sucked and Then I Cried: How I had a Baby a Breakdown and a Much Needed Margarita. Looking forward to learning in this new(ish) way!

I am Kristy. I am an elementary school library specialist. It has been a long time since I have been a student and I am looking forward to a new challenge. Currently, I am without hobbies, unless you call “working mom” a hobby. The constant entertainment of children at school and at home keeps me busy and fulfilled! A few (or more) years ago. At this point, I have little in common with Armstrong, but oddly feel connected to her after following her blog for so long. Welcome to the program! I can relate to...

Skype is a great example of a Web 2.0 tool that works fairly seamlessly to accomplish something, and expands what is possible in person-to-person interactions. I look forward to hearing how the presentation tools work for you, and hope your hardware setups cooperate. Posted 4 years, 11 months ago. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. A Library Full of Happiness
Februari 2014 by ElkeCelie on Grooveshark. Hawera Primary Library Blog
Hawera Primary Library Blog. Wednesday, September 15, 2010. Mr Muggs the Library Cat. A review by Domonic E. What is it about? It's about a cat called Mr Muggs, who lives in the local library to keep out rats. But he gives the rat some food for playing dead. What is my favourite part? When they read a book and become rock stars. Mr Muggs, the staff, Mr Moon, Miss Devine, Pablo the rat and Pablos family. Grandma McGarvey joins the scrum. A book review by Grace Madden. I give this book a 4 star rating.

Library Hearted
Exploring the lovely intersections of books, children and libraries. Tuesday, January 4, 2011. December has come and gone. Yet I can't quite let it pass without mentioning a fantastic author visit that occurred last month. The lovely Mitali Perkins. Visited Flushing Library for a homecoming of sorts. In the afternoon she led a writing workshop for young adults where the lucky participants received a signed copy of her latest book, Bamboo People. I also enjoyed the informal, adaptable and cozy set up of t...
