http://manynicethings.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 13 July 2010. Found a house to move into in September, which means I am officially obliged to while away hours looking at pretty pictures of interiors. Hooray! Sunday, 4 July 2010. My very talented sister started a blog. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. My love for you is a stampede of horses. Good Things / People I Like. A Library of Dust. Many Nice Things: Writing
http://manynicethings.blogspot.com/2011/01/writing.html
Sunday, 9 January 2011. Last week I decided to write a story. I used to write quite a lot, but haven't done anything much for a while. I came up with a few little pieces, one of which I decided to submit to The Pygmy Giant. Where my friends Emily. Have had stuff published in the past. They emailed me back on Friday to say they were going to publish my story, which I was both surprised by and very pleased about indeed. You can read it here. http://autumn-almost.blogspot.com/2012/07/i-grow-up-in-city-with-low-loaded-that.html
Monday, 16 July 2012. I grow up in a city with low, loaded skies that make it difficult to grow up. Most of the time it is safest to stay close to the ground, to walk where you need to go quickly and without making any noise; to help with what needs doing around the house without complaining; to comb and plait your hair neatly; hang out the washing; take the rain; tuck yourself up in clean, bristly sheets; dream small dreams. The sky moves forever, regardless. I get pregnant. I sleep and dream of...My so...

Many Nice Things
http://manynicethings.blogspot.com/2011/01/on-friday-i-made-cushion-out-of-old.html
Sunday, 16 January 2011. On Friday I made a cushion out of old fabric and felt and then started some new embroidery. Apologies for the bad photo, it's been gloomy and rainy outside for ages now and the light for photos is terrible even in the middle of the day! 17 January 2011 at 04:26. 20 January 2011 at 09:08. Tuesday, 1 February 2011. I have decided to start a writing blog over at http:/ autumn-almost.blogspot.com/. That said, it's not that easy writing stuff at the moment as the "c" key on my keyboard is not working well due to an incident involving my clumsy self, this here laptop and a glass of cider. Am currently copying and pasting a c every time I need one. Not ideal. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. My love for you is a stampede of horses. Good Things / People I Like. Many Nice Things: May 2011
http://manynicethings.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, 26 May 2011. Finally found a little time to start making things again! I have now finished the taught part of my course and have an 18, 000 word dissertation to write over summer. Small amounts of sewing time are surely going to be essential to preserve my sanity. I will be selling stuff on Friday 24th June. And Friday 22nd July. Would be lovely to see you there! UPDATE 13/07/2011: No Craft Fair in July I'm afraid! Hopefully have some news soon. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Library of Dust.

autumn, almost: Jam Jar
http://autumn-almost.blogspot.com/2013/04/jam-jar.html
Sunday, 21 April 2013. When I am thirsty I can go and turn the tap on, hold a glass under it, switch the tap off and gulp the water down in five seconds flat. When I am hungry I can put some bread in the toaster, wait for it to pop up and then eat it dry from a cracked plate until I think I might choke. Whatever I require, I can have. One day, I will be back. If I am needed, I will return. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Conversations with Machines (Metazen).
