Five fortenberries. plus one. Monday, January 3, 2011. Tyler turned 16 (that has been MORE painful than I thought it would be). And last but certainly not least, I have a new baby niece. Shayden Elizabeth graced this world on December 28! This brings me to a total of 7 nieces and nephews! I'm so glad 2010 ended on a good note! God has blessed us so much! Wednesday, November 27, 2013. Hi It has been an embarrassingly long time. When we first met, I was about four months into my journey of motherhood. We are now on the cusp of that four month old turning five on the first of December. So, I've been thinking, what are some things I would look back and tell that young mother:. There are never enough snuggles. Enjoy this time- even the long nights. You'll cry more in the next five years than ever before. For good, bad and ugly reasons. You will not be perfect.

Five fortenberries. plus one. Saturday, July 10, 2010. I took Friday off to spend some extra time with the kiddos. Our friend Greg bowls on a league nd gave us lots of free game passes. (Thanks Greg! So the five of us headed over to the bowling alley. Sadie needed bumpers so she had a lane all to herself. While the rest of us bowled two games, she bowled a total of five! Saturday, September 22, 2012. It's a family tradition. Wednesday, September 19, 2012. A (vigorous) 2 weeker. JBB had his two week appointment today. I was anxious to see his weight so I could "grade" his eating for my sanity. He isn't signing up to be on the line any time soon, but he has gained exactly one pound. Coming in at a healthy 7 lbs 12 oz. All that weighing will wear a brother out. We left with a perfect report and characterized as "vigorous." I thought I already had one of "those.". Just check...

Friday, February 22, 2013. I’ve let almost another month go by. I had such great intentions. Since I last updated, we went in for JBB’s “4” month appointment and EB’s “4” year checkup. Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Bed, open her closet and search for a [matching] pair of flip flops- from the 345 pairs covering her closet floor (some battles aren’t worth fighting- just shut the door).
