My grandmother always made a wonderful dessert called, Kuchen pronounced (koo-gan) or for some (koo-gah). Kuchen is the German word for cake . It is a sweet bread, coffee-cake-like dessert with a custard and fruit or cottage cheese filling. Top right: Peach Kuchen, Middle: Blueberry Kuchen, Front: Rhubarb Kuchen. Combine the following ingredients and bring to a boil.
