Wednesday, October 12, 2011. This girl comes up with some crazy ideas. She wanted a mud bath because it would make her skin soft and silky. Watching too any commercials, I guess. She made up her mind. She put on her bathing suit. Marched out to the front yard. Turned on the hose and started making mud. Check out the background. Major construction = big mess! I'll blog about that soon. Arms, legs, face, hair. And even some splatter on innocent by-standers. Nothing to see here but pure joy on her face.

Wednesday, August 31, 2011. They started school today! Another 3 weeks off would have been fantastic. It's unbelievable to me that my girls are in 4th and 6th grades. Middle school for my oldest, and that's just crazy for me to wrap my head around. Sugar Nugget is 11 and started middle school today. She is so pretty. Talented. Funny - in a crazy, fun, silly way. Loves to do her hair pretty. Super witty. Loves to sing and dance. Wants to be a Christian singer. Loves fashion. She is truly becoming a tween.

Monday, December 31, 2012. Last New Year's Eve. It was. I contemplated not doing a review of twenty-twelve {frankly because I am so excited to see this year come to an end, I might just crawl in to bed at 7:30 tonight forego the sequins, the ball drop all that jazz.} but after reminiscing over last year's review here. I decided it would be a lovely, more jocelyn-esque idea to give 2012 a proper farewell, seeing that I am a huge fan of closure all. January arrived. I laid out my wishes for the new year.

By now, the word is definitely out that I am leaving my job in the few spare moments I find in my days to take a break, I have been inundated with an overwhelming response from my colleagues to my impending departure.
