http://sarah-cotton.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
My Thoughts on God, Family, and Life. Thursday, July 31, 2014. How to find creative inspiration. Don't get me wrong: being an artist is amazing. I get to use my creativity to solve problems and communicate every day, which is incredible. But some days you have it and some days you just don't. I'm writing this post with the intention of figuring out how to have more of those creative days. Hopefully some of you will also find this helpful. First of all: Sleep. Seriously. Sarah's Blog: January 2015
http://sarah-cotton.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
My Thoughts on God, Family, and Life. Friday, January 9, 2015. Ways to develop your characters. If you can't see the full version, go here. I've been thinking about this a lot lately, both as I write and as I study other great bits of writing. Every writer seems to have something they naturally focus on. Some prefer world building and the mechanics of society in their stories, and some naturally direct their attention towards characters. Let them get confused or contradict themselves once in a while!

Sarah's Blog: Ink Experiments
http://sarah-cotton.blogspot.com/2014/02/ink-experiments.html
My Thoughts on God, Family, and Life. Thursday, February 27, 2014. I've been experimenting with inks on bristol recently and I thought I'd post some of my favorites. The colored ones were edited in Photoshop. I've never done anything with color choices quite this strange, but I kind of like it! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sarah's Blog: April 2014
http://sarah-cotton.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
My Thoughts on God, Family, and Life. Saturday, April 12, 2014. I'm just going to post some of my recent work here to show you what's been happening. Done in ink, this was my first time using an actual paintbrush to ink a piece! Scary as all get-out to ink but luckily I didn't spill anything. This one was done in Photoshop and was mainly an experiment in color. The title is "Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained". Lots of classwork, lots of fun times with new mediums! http://sarah-cotton.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
My Thoughts on God, Family, and Life. Saturday, July 23, 2011. Just had my wisdom teeth out yesterday, so my perception of this page's quality may or may not be lacking. :). Sunday, July 17, 2011. Once again, forgot to post on Saturday. So I posted today instead! I am actually intimidated by this kind of action sequence, so for mercy to me, it will be short. Saturday, July 9, 2011. There may or may not be a smooth criminal reference on this page. Sunday, July 3, 2011. Sorry for the late update!
