Be Fit with Lydia. Wednesday, December 3, 2014. This year we flew to Texas for Thanksgiving to visit the Mearse side of the family. We were able to fly out Monday evening and spend some time with the grandparents and cousins. On Tuesday, Tutu and Jan (husband's Grandmother and Aunt) drove out from west Texas to visit with us and have an early Thanksgiving lunch. Wednesday morning we headed out early for breakfast before going to Dallas for the rest of the week. What's not to love, especially for boys.

We've had lots of fun, excelled academically, and learned to love learning. This year we completed . Classical Conversations Cycle 3. ABeka Mathematics grades 1 and 4. ABeka Reading and Grammar. Spelling is for Everyone. Olympians by Word of Life. For Bible and Scripture Memory (both earned Gold medals). We also went lots of places.

Monday, February 2, 2015. Literacy Night Frozen Style. Brooklyn's school had a literacy night full of fun Frozen themed activities. They really did a wonderful job on all the activities. Wednesday, April 25, 2012. Jack and Avie's Carnival. We celebrated Jackson's 5th and Avie's 3rd birthday this weekend, with a carnival party. The kids had a blast. We had everything from hot dogs and nachos, to popcorn, peanuts, and cotton candy! The Rest Is Still Unwritten. Monday, June 20, 2011. You never really learn to swear until you learn to drive. I'm very much working on my 'potty mouth' as my Mama would call it. And, I'm doing pretty good until days like this. When you get up out of the bed cursing your body, you know it's gonna be a 'challenging' day. I'll never forget when Chase was about 2 1/2 years old and really mimicking every word that came out of my mouth. My favorite in traffic at the time? I CAN do this. Miserably, but I can.
