As you can tell it was a busy semester, so much so that I didn't get a single post written, but here we are, nearing the end of 2012 and after a wonder-filled Holiday season. Friday, August 19, 2011. We've been doing ponytails over the summer, and we've gone through all sorts of variations on the standard ponytail. There was a phase where we had to have 5 or 6 ponytails at a time. So Aaron brought her to the salon yesterday while I was getting my cut and we had my stylist cut hers too. They had these great little wagon chairs for her to sit in, and they even turned on My Little Ponies. She wore a Toy Story apron and sat like a big girl. Here she is before. A day at the beach.

Ever since one of Alyssa's best day care buddies left day care and started preschool last fall, Alyssa has been talking about going to preschool. We started the search for a preschool in January and soon found that many of the options we were considering were either too expensive or wouldn't work with our schedules. Several friends had recommended Milestones. When I picked her up, she was smiling. She told me it was so fun! Can I go to preschool now?
