I don't know if I mentioned it on my blog, but my sister and her family had to suddenly leave Turkey last summer. It has been really hard not having them right next door anymore and we all miss them terribly. But what fun it was to have Melanie and our sis-in-law, Rachael, here to stay with us for a week in February! So good to be back together again! So sad to see them go!

Friday, August 1, 2014. We really do live in one of the most beautiful countries in the world and every summer we try to get out and explore some more of it. In the middle of June we headed 4 hours south to spend three days on the beautiful Dalyan river. Enjoy the pictures :). The Dalyan river with Lycian rock tombs in the mountain. Friday, September 19, 2014. First day of school! On September 15 the Turkish school year started. We had a fun summer, but the kids were (mostly) excited to go back to school, especially Vienna who couldn't wait to wear her "costume" (how she referred to her uniform. haha). We love our little village school and all the kids have great teachers who really care about their students and seeing them succeed! Thursday, September 18, 2014. Sunday, April 26, 2015. What our backyard looked like a few week ago: a bunch of half assembled bee hive boxes, one hard-working husband and a cute pajama clad baby "cleaning" up wood shavings. I just love Brooks' cute smile and his chin dripping with drool. Gotta love teething babies! Bake sale at the kids' school. I always make the same thing - chocolate chip cookies. It's really the only thing I ever bake, but I'm glad they are such a hit with Turks! All dressed up on Easter Sunday. Hi, I'm Charity!

Friday, July 5, 2013. How has nearly two months passed since I have attempted to sit down to upload new pictures? Of course the highlight of every summer for all of us is the cabin! Every year we come away feeling more blessed than the year before. And every year everyone comes home completely tuckered out from playing their hearts out. My girls slept almost the entire way home this year which gave me a nice quiet ride. Tristan coming to the finish line with Aunt Hannah! Someone had her seasons confused!

Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Hannah is down for a nap after a fun trip to the park. I thought this would be a good time to catch everyone up on all that's going on with us. Life is good! Kev got a promotion at work about 6 months ago and is absolutely loving work. Hannah is growing like a weed.
