Space Elevator Development Blog. 以前より設計開発が進行中だったSEクライマーのプロトタイプモデルの基本構造が出来上がり、基礎実験の第一段階としてモーター制御の動作実験の行いました。昇降性能(速度)もまずまずですが、モーターブレーキがうまく動作しており、所定の位置での制動がうまく行えていることが分かります。当初懸念していた昇降によるクライマーとベルトのずれは、この程度ではほとんど見られずスムーズに昇降している様子です。モータートルクも余裕があるようですので、つぎはバッテリー搭載での昇降実験に挑戦したいと思います。 まずは登れてひと安心です。　by　R.T. Space Elevator Development Blog. 平成21年5月1日(金)、SEクライマーモデル公開昇降実験を行いました。当日は、午前中は快晴で風も弱く絶好の宇宙エレベーター日和（？）でした。しかし、午後から風が強まり、夕方になっても風が一向に収まらない状況で午後からはかなりの苦戦を強いられましたが、それでもなんとか昇降実験には成功し、横風の中で揺れてねじれるベルトの頂部までクライマーが到達することができました。 昇降実験に挑戦したのは日大理工学部の２台のクライマーで、駆動機構の異なるものでしたが、３月に実験を行ったクライマー改に一日の長があり、上の写真のように上空のベルト頂部に到達することができました。設計担当のＳ君は「今回の実験で、また多くの課題が見つかった８月の競技会まで改善すべきことは山ほどある」とコメントし、新たな機構の設計に着手することになりました。 ラベル: 宇宙エレベーター、競技会、クライマー、昇降実験.
