LINDBERG|ARCH670|UMD: March 2009
http://lindberg670umd.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 24, 2009. A few last thoughts. This is the second go at the tile, first one that went through the printer. the base is nice and sturdy, but the rest did not quite work out. Monday, March 23, 2009. Finally.a tile that works. I decided to leave the overhanging pieces on, only because this is the only possible way to print it. after its made i will decide whether to cut/sand the edges off or leave it as is. Monday, March 2, 2009. Line to surface patterned tile. The problem with this first att...

Tuesday, February 24, 2009. Sunday, February 22, 2009. Ali rahim contemporary techniques in architecture. Monday, February 16, 2009. The pieces were created by importing images of the precedent object and then tracing the curves in multiple views using cv lines. the individual vertices were then manipulated to get the lines into a 3rd dimension. finally after several lines were made they were lofted together to create a plane that imitated the car. LINDBERG|ARCH670|UMD: April 2009
http://lindberg670umd.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 14, 2009. This is my first shot at modeling something about the scene and camera work. what i wanted to do was follow the path of the camera as one continuous sweep without the interruptions of the camera transitions. i used maya to help draw and loft the sweep and the intent is to use EIAS (electric image animator software) to follow the path in my own manner. that animation is to come. http://canon670umd.blogspot.com/2009/05/final-animation.html
Making this animation brought me great joy. using final cut was great, i had never used it before and was suprised by how easy it was! Will this building make them happy? Will they want to keep it around for a long time? Why can't they just say "i like it! October 28, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Hello hapi blogging. have a nice day! March 2, 2010 at 11:30 PM. CANON|ARCH670|UMD: horizontal still frame diagram
http://canon670umd.blogspot.com/2009/05/horizontal-still-frame-diagram.html
Horizontal still frame diagram. Turning the still frame diagram horizontal (90 degrees counterclockwise) we have more of a temporal representation of the scene. the scene stills were taken every 2.5 seconds which is shown at the top. And by markers at the bottom as well. This is similar to OMA's flag for the european union, which they created by combining the colors of all the EU countries flags. it is also a sort of bar code that brands this group of countries. Tuesday, March 31, 2009. Photos of my Tile -Final Constructs. In this iteration of the tile I wanted to take the rotational form of the original tile and extend it in the z direction in order to capture more space. I felt the first tile was somewhat flat in its physical construct. Monday, March 2, 2009. This is one of my previous attempts. Here is a second version of the matrix study. In this attempt I took two different portions of the hood bumper area and played with reversing the direction of the curve.

Tuesday, February 24, 2009. This series is the result of a second 03 x 06 matrical study. Each row went through a single (either scale or shear) deformation in a single direction. Surfaces in the final row were rotated 30 degrees and scaled on the y-axis. For this analysis, the transformations have occurred surficially without separating and manipulating the components (vertices, faces) of the original. Monday, February 23, 2009. Tuesday, April 21, 2009. These are a series of process images that illustrate the direction I'm headed. All allude to the potential of the artifact, seen at the top right of each image in perspective. The third frame illustrates the "hulls" of the line, which could in itself become an interesting diagram for the final sequence. It further abstracts the line I created with control vertices. Something I've been wrestling with is how should these new diagrams function? Monday, April 20, 2009. I focused (mos...

The Lindberg Family
Thursday, December 30, 2010. In need of serious updating! One of my resolutions will be to do a better job on this blog as I know many friends and family who live far away enjoy having this connection. So here is to the new start. Friday, August 13, 2010. Take me out to the ball game. We had never been on the Mariners Field before, so it was a special treat on Fathers day! Adam and the girls in the outfield. This is on the first base line, just before the Mariners dug out. Brennen at the ball park. An er...
