CANON|ARCH670|UMD: horizontal still frame diagram
http://canon670umd.blogspot.com/2009/05/horizontal-still-frame-diagram.html
Horizontal still frame diagram. Turning the still frame diagram horizontal (90 degrees counterclockwise) we have more of a temporal representation of the scene. the scene stills were taken every 2.5 seconds which is shown at the top. And by markers at the bottom as well. This is similar to OMA's flag for the european union, which they created by combining the colors of all the EU countries flags. it is also a sort of bar code that brands this group of countries. ARNOLD|670|UMD: April 2009
http://arnold670umd.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 21, 2009. These are a series of process images that illustrate the direction I'm headed. All allude to the potential of the artifact, seen at the top right of each image in perspective. The third frame illustrates the "hulls" of the line, which could in itself become an interesting diagram for the final sequence. It further abstracts the line I created with control vertices. Something I've been wrestling with is how should these new diagrams function? Monday, April 20, 2009. I focused (mos...

ARNOLD|670|UMD: February 2009
http://arnold670umd.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 24, 2009. This series is the result of a second 03 x 06 matrical study. Each row went through a single (either scale or shear) deformation in a single direction. Surfaces in the final row were rotated 30 degrees and scaled on the y-axis. For this analysis, the transformations have occurred surficially without separating and manipulating the components (vertices, faces) of the original. Monday, February 23, 2009. Saturday, February 21, 2009. Tuesday, February 17, 2009. These drawings are...
