Old Sidney and his 8 Track: February 2006
http://jboythemagnificent.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Old Sidney and his 8 Track. Tuesday, February 14, 2006. From comments received, it appears we went too far with our last post. It has been deleted and JB has been suspended from running the Blog, indefinitely. We acknowledge that Mr. Garden has worked extremely hard in creating a great looking place, and JB had no intention of implying otherwise. We received a lot of heat, and we deserved it. So, that was the last straw! Old Sidney and his 8 Track. Tuesday, February 07, 2006. Old Sidney and his 8 Track.

Dirtman Cometh: The Battle of Toms Brook Re-Visited
http://dirtmancometh.blogspot.com/2009/09/battle-of-toms-brook-re-visited.html
Tuesday, September 8, 2009. The Battle of Toms Brook Re-Visited. In October, 1864 the Battle of Toms Brook. Raged on in the fields surrounding my house. That battle became significant once again yesterday when Independent Hill and her husband, who live across the road from me, decided it was time to replace their front porch. Could George Custer have been killed here instead of Little Big Horn? No one will know for sure but IH could be re-writing history. September 10, 2009 at 9:51:00 AM EDT. Rumor has i...

Domestic Derring-Do: Integration
http://domesticderringdo.blogspot.com/2008/01/integration.html
Life beyond Kraft Macaroni and Cheese. Saturday, January 5, 2008. Okay, I admit it. I can't keep my interests separate. They just get muddled with each other. So, as much as I'd like to spare Linguini-ites the overpowering nesting tendencies of Domestic Derring-Do and spare the Do-ers from my occasionally caustic, decidedly canine, usually puzzling life on Linguini On the Ceiling, I'm beginning to feel fragmented. They keep spilling over into each other. And so all future posts will be over on Linguini.

Domestic Derring-Do: The Stash
http://domesticderringdo.blogspot.com/2007/12/stash.html
Life beyond Kraft Macaroni and Cheese. Thursday, December 27, 2007. Anyone having anything to do with sewing, knitting, crocheting or crafting knows what a 'stash' is. Most of us have one of various sizes, some having transcended the name and blooming into a full-blown compulsion. A stash can be comforting in that you always have something to do if, say, you are snowed in for a few weeks and there is nothing to do but sit in front of the fire and knit or sew. That's the thought anyway. So I've never real...

Old Sidney and his 8 Track
http://jboythemagnificent.blogspot.com/2006/08/my-trip-to-new-york-everyone-is-asking.html
Old Sidney and his 8 Track. Monday, August 28, 2006. My Trip to New York. Everyone is asking about pictures from my New York trip. Here I am at Coney Island. After this photo op., I headed for where you SHOULD ride the Cyclone - the back seat. The cyclone is definitely the roughest (i.e. bumpy, jostling) ride I've ever been on. Rode the back seat, or next to back seat, 4 times. My neck was stiff for a week, but I'll be back on it as soon as I can get back up there. The day was extremely hot on my way dow...

Domestic Derring-Do: Match and Swatch
http://domesticderringdo.blogspot.com/2007/12/match-and-swatch.html
Life beyond Kraft Macaroni and Cheese. Monday, December 31, 2007. I'm always surprised when I'm working on several projects at once, how they end up having some kind of common denominator. Tonight Chuck and I will be propping up our eyelids and policing Joe's lock-in party. Back in my youth I also stayed up all night and watched the sun come up on the beach on New Year's Day. These days it's an effort staying up awake after midnight. Thank goodness for a husband who is a 'night person.'.

Domestic Derring-Do: No Photographic Evidence...Sorry
http://domesticderringdo.blogspot.com/2007/11/no-photographic-evidencesorry.html
Life beyond Kraft Macaroni and Cheese. Monday, November 5, 2007. No Photographic Evidence.Sorry. Someday I will post photos of pasta-making. This weekend's foray was impressive, but certainly not graceful. Need I say it's not all that simple? He finally gave up and left the kitchen saying, "Break out the San Giorgio, Mom.". Undaunted, I shut all the books and let The Force. And that's my advice to you. Once you have a general recipe, use The Force and your own common sense. What's wrong with you? My Day-...

Domestic Derring-Do: A Peaceful New Year's Eve
http://domesticderringdo.blogspot.com/2008/01/peaceful-new-years-eve.html
Life beyond Kraft Macaroni and Cheese. Tuesday, January 1, 2008. A Peaceful New Year's Eve. No, really. Even with a party going on downstairs, for Chuck and me things were calm and quiet. We played Scrabble and I made some homemade caramel popcorn and we toasted in the New Year with sparkling fruit juice (we were, after all, responsible for all those kids downstairs, who were remarkably well-behaved). My caramel corn recipe, for those interested:. Place in a glass microwave safe bowl:. 1 cup brown sugar.
