As of January 8, 2007, travelers going to Mexico, Canada (yes, even if they're connected),the non-U.S. Caribbean (Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix are all U.S.Caribbean), Panama and Bermuda NEED PASSPORTS! Until now, a driver's license and a birth certificate would get you through customs and back into the States. Of course, they end up building so much more than a row-boat in 3 or 4 days. Every kid there (and some adults too!
