We stayed near the family-friendly end of the route, with fun kid activities before the parade started. Saturday, December 6, 2008. The kids have tried various sports this year. They enjoyed basketball which was hilarious to watch. When it was time to sign up again, neither one wanted to do it. They did not like soccer at all (sorry, Coach Kutscher, we tried). Maddy finished her third year of dance and decided she didn't want to do it anymore. I really miss seeing the dance moms every week! I am teaching all senior classes this year except for the one semester of poetry. We both love our jobs and the people / students we work with. I have so much fun at my job! Peeking in on the Pennington's. Friday, August 29, 2008. What's New at the Pennington's? These are the during and after pictures of our newly improved family room! Now we're prepping for the demolition of the backyard! Next week the fence around the pool will come down so that all the concrete can be torn out and replaced, along with the little deck outside our bedroom. Then once the concrete and deck are done, the new fence will go back up! Just in time to close the pool and not enjoy any of it, ha, ha!

Every year RHS holds an awards day ceremony where the top students receive departmental achievement awards. The best part of the awards day ceremony is when the Art 4 students get to give away a piece of their artwork to a teacher who has made an impact in their lives.
