Haebs Family: May 2012

Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Jacob's Last Day of Kindergarten. No matter how cliche it sounds, I have to say it. This school year went by so fast! I can't believe that in a couple of hours, Jacob will be home from his last day as a kindergartener! He has grown up physically and emotionally this year and learned a heck of a lot in the process. For the physical. here is Jacob on Day 1 of kindergarten, August 24, 2011. He stood 3'7" tall and weighed in at 42lbs. He stands 3'8.75" and weighs in at 43.5lbs. May 2...

Haebs Family: Field Day
http://haebsfamily.blogspot.com/2012/05/field-day.html
Thursday, May 24, 2012. May 2nd, Jacob had Field Day at school. He talked about the games and activities he would get to do for weeks in advance. And who doesn't love running with a cup of overflowing water. Water activities are always a hit. How about tossing a water soaked ball with your partner. A little digging for marbles with your toes. I had to leave before the class relays began, but I was glad I came to see my boy have some fun outside. June 13, 2012 at 6:25 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The daily life of the Roys back in TEXAS. :). Friday, August 26, 2011. Here's his picture after we got our cast. He was so mad because they had to take more x-rays (which hurt) and then I had to hold his arm still to put the cast on. He kept saying, "The doctor is not fun! The best thing about the whole trip was mainly the weather. A 30 degree difference felt close to heaven for us and being able to be outside without sweating was SO nice! Here's some of our pics:. Our view from the Space Needle. Motherl...

Haebs Family: December 2010
http://haebsfamily.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 26, 2010. Though I have a lot of updates to go back and edit and post, I thought I would start from some of the more recent posts to keep everyone up to date. This one is actually about activities that went on last week, Dec.20-26. One day we went to a pizza parlor with a kids play area:. We made another zoo trip this week, this time with a couple of friends. No matter how many times we visit the zoo, the boys never tire of it. Friday was a day of making Christmas cookies,. I take a lot ...

Haebs Family: January 2011
http://haebsfamily.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 4, 2011. Today was haircut day for the boys. Luke (aka wild man):. Links to this post. Yesterday I took the boys bowling. David and I took them once before a few months ago, so Jacob was very excited when I told him we were going. It is amazing what a difference 4-5 months can make. Jacob attempted to bowl with his fingers in the proper holes,. Though he still did a painful drop of the ball rather than roll it. Luke, as is typical these days, insisted on doing it "all myself.".

Haebs Family: December 2011
http://haebsfamily.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 28, 2011. Just after Christmas, we decided it was time to teach Jacob how to ride his bike without training wheels. He isn't the most confident bike rider with the training wheels on, so I wasn't sure how it would go. They started on the sidewalk, so Jacob could use the grass as a safety net. Much to my surprise, after just 15-20 minutes working with Daddy, he got it. Once he was confident, they moved onto the street:. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Testing out my flip.
