Tuesday, February 3, 2015. Results, results.everyone loves results.and a little rant. This 24 day challenge was unique in that it was the first nationwide challenge. 40,000 people across the USA joined together to challenge at the same time! Kick off the new year the right way. I was excited to be joined by my husband and three friends in the challenge adventure! I was very pleased with everyone's results, and I think they were too! His results: 12 lbs lost and 7 total inches lost, 3 from his waist.

Saturday, February 22, 2014. Although I am not heading home yet, I was flipping through my passport reading the patriotic sayings across the top of each visa page. I couldn't help for a moment to be a bit emotional and thankful that I have the things I have and I am able to call my county home. Monday, December 29, 2014. No Excuses.spring into 2015! I have to admit that I have thought about blogging a few times and then decided I just didn't want to, or I had other things to do. I could make up one hundred reasons why I haven't blogged, but they would be just excuses. One of the things that has been keeping my busy besides the house, work and the kiddos is that Jarrett came to visit me in England on my last work trip of the year! He met my friend's boyfriend there and together they went golfing.

Monday, January 20, 2014. Healthy Cookies - Take 1. Another day, another healthy recipe! Last night I was craving something sweet, and seeing that I am not eating sugar I was feeling a bit sad and lacking in the yummy department. Today while surfing facebook I saw a recipe for Oatmeal Cookies that had no sugar, eggs or flour. Here is my trial! Saturday, June 28, 2014. Finally.Results of my Second Challenge. As you know I decided to do the 24 day challenge again leading up to my vacation. I have to say that I really love this program. There is just something that gets your mind focused and if you really commit, then you will see results! It isn't for everyone as I have found by working with different people. Some people are not supplement takers, and that is okay! If it is for you, and you do stick to the plan, then you will see the rewards.

Tuesday, December 25, 2012. Merry Christmas from the hospital. I was very upset that Jack had to spend Christmas in the hospital this year. He had an outpouring of gifts and love from both strangers and family and it helped to make the season bright! The best part though was when his sisters came to see him and he was squealing with joy! Friday, May 1, 2015. I decided to try one of the recipes for PB cups that are a healthier option. The one recipe I shared called for almond butter and I didn't have it handy, so I decided to try this one. I also modified it a bit and I will share the modifications in my version of the recipe below. To make the chocolate:. 1 cup Coconut Oil. 3/4 cup Raw Cocoa - invest in a good cocoa, it really does make a difference in the taste. Mix the PB filling:. 1 cup Peanut Butter. A pinch of salt.

Monday, January 12, 2015. Buffalo Chicken Spaghetti Squash. Tonight is game day and we are eating healthy! For now that means no pizza, chicken wings, cheese dip or all of those other yummy treats.
