I don't think there is a real parenting lesson here, or maybe there is depending on how you look at things. Anyhow this is just a funny story that completely made my day. Children have amazing minds. Their interpretation of everyday life is astounding. The way they look at the world is refreshing. The way they hear things that are said can be completely comical.

I remember growing up, I knew what parent to go to based on the situation. My father was the disciplinarian. My mother was the soother. My father had to be convinced, my mother just wanted us to be happy- at least for me. My sister may have a different experience, but for me- if I wanted something, I went to my mom. Tonight, I lost my patience- again.
